is famous for its fort is is known as the silent city with churches
monasteries and palaces besides narrow streets. The city gates in medina
are baroque in style built by the portugese master manoel de vilhena in

centry The moat is now dry and covered in orange and lemon trees.There

Rabat
is a popular old area of malta with its magnificiant church of
st pauls withs t pauls grotto underneath this area is steeped in history
with the catacombs consisting of graves underground you can relax in the
local cafes and shop in the square. there are many fishing villages to
visit on days of leisure the blue groto seen at its best early in a morning
it faces south east towards the sunrise from here you can viit many of
the caves
Bugibba is ther are for night life hosting many clubs and bars open till
late a busy time along with silena.
It is a very common thing for maltese to organise BBQs on their beaches. Many opt for the sandy beaches (situated mostly in the northern part of the country). However the rocky beaches are preferred by other. Friends or families meet to enjoy the nice evening weather while eating some grilled food.
Malta holds pretty long Siesta hours. Many things are closed between 1 and 4:30 pm each day, but they reopen until 7:30.

Though not blessed with a lot of sandy beaches, most can be reached by
bus and most have some sort of facilities, such as a kiosk bar or a full
blown cafe/water sports centre.
There are some amazing churches throughout Malta & Gozo. It seems
like every village tries to outdo the others by building a bigger church.
The Maltese are generally very friendly people, so just when you think that the word rip-off never made it into their dictionary, it's still one of the safest places in Europe! BEACHES : there are a few sandy beaches. many people have BAR-B-Q's in the night on the beach. Teaching English in Malta is a sunny experience!
